Do you enjoy a delicious burger? Come to Tom & Eddie’s on Wednesday, November 6, between 5 and 9 pm, to enjoy a burger created by our own Marketing students. Groups of four Marketing students collaboratively worked with culinary students to design and create two unique burgers. Groups presented to a panel of judges to determine the burgers that would represent Metea on November 6. Marketing students will now create a marketing campaign to inform and entice customers to come to the restaurant. The event is a competition between district 203 and 204 high schools, so come support the Mustangs at Tom & Eddies.
Currently students are working on an in-depth analysis of a company registered on the stock market. Students will research a company’s stock price over the past ten years to identify specific highs and lows. Based on their findings and spikes in the chart, students will identify market, company, or other causes that may have impacted the performance of the stock. Students determine if they would recommend that company to investors and the research will be used to help create stock portfolios they will track for the remainder of the semester.
